It is obvious that one key ingredient to achieving that quick property sale is sensible pricing. But that is not the whole story. It is also of vital importance that the property for sale is well presented so that it will appeal to the greatest number of possible buyers. A home which is poorly presented will put off buyers even if the property is keenly priced. So here are some things to do, simple thingsyou can and should undertake before each and every viewing of your house.
1. De-clutter. The style in interior design at the moment is towards unfussiness. Fussy interiors with lots of patterned furnishings and wall paper can be less likeable, particularly to young people. So it pays to consider removing some items from fussy rooms. However, redecorating is not recommended; concentrate instead on removing smaller decorative items and perhaps some furniture. This will also have the effect of making your rooms look a little larger.
2. Tidy up.An obvious thing to do and it will make a huge difference. This particularly applies in the kitchen where all pots and pans, crockery and cutlery should be washed and stored away in cupboards and drawers. In other rooms, tidy away any laundry which might be drying or awaiting ironing. The rooms of children and adolescents are often untidy but a big effort may well bring in the results.
3. Out in the garden. Attempt to present a neat and tidy garden. Freshly mown grass with neat stripes will always add to the appeal of your house. Areas used by children can also profit from a tidy up. Weed free borders and a general aura of regular upkeep will always impress.
4. Indoor plants. There was a era when the presence of indoor plants and flower displays was considered a good thing. However things have changed. The removal of big potted plants, particularly if they are unruly is probably a good idea these days under the “de-clutter” principle.
So instead of simply asking the estate agent to “Sell my Home fast” you could try the above tips to help the situation along. To sell your house in the current market you need to make it the most attractive property within your district. Concerted effort to tidy up your house before each and every viewing will help it to become one of the better properties. Coupled with a sensible asking price you should be able to ensure that yours is the first to be sold.
